Installed it yesterday morning. No hiccups and all Favorites and Browsing data migrated seamlessly from old Edge.
The only thing noticed so far, after extensive usage all day yesterday, is that pdf files needed to be set again to open by default by Acrobat.
It's true that I missed old Edge's hide tabs for later, but you can't have it all in this life.
Fast and stable so far... Hope it will stay that way!
" Hope it will stay that way! "...............you mean ; " Hope it will be much better soon ! "![]()
Ok just finished adding it to my 3rd system, the Lenovo. and after doing the first two systems and making sure nothing was in old edges sync buffer/folder on the servers, this install went just like installing Chrome(everything that could be sync'd was sync'd.
I only had to add German language , oh and delete that damn unsafe malware prone Yahoo from the search engine selection![]()
Alright! Everything got synced correctly into 5 browsers eventually. Seems it all works, although sometimes extremely slow for some odd reason. If I add a new bookmark it syncs within a second to all browsers. But if I manipulate multiple bookmarks in one go it can take up to 24h.![]()
I keep getting this Norton popup since I changed to new edge
