    Hi there
Chrome is fine if you like that type of Browser -- which is why I can't understand why Ms didn't off shore the whole process with Edge over to Google ==> whatever one might think of Google its products generally work -- I rarely see anybody complaining about problems with their mobile phones seizing up when using android --OK some rubbishy apps might cause glitches but the base Android OS seems to be reasonably robust whatever android phone you use.

    Cheers

By the way, as a side note, C:\Users\User_Name\Favorites is still useful for whatever your main default browser is.
Just nuke what ever is in there from IE and drag and drop from your main browser into the favorites folder.

You can't drag folders into it, just shortcuts, so you need to re-create your folders and drop the respective shortcuts into it.

I've done this and turned on the links toolbar in taskbar, so I can quickly open directly to any of my favorite sites.
This way you have more choices than pinning on the browsers icon.

Only negative is, it sets all bookmarks in alphabetical order, instead of the browsers order.

Chrome is the King of Browsers.....I don't think Edge (even based on Chromium) will ever be able to truly compete.

    Hi there
    @Cliff S

I think you missed your vocation -- you should be in some school / institution somewhere teaching "hacking 101" or whatever --I'm sure CIA / FSA would pay you an absolute fortune. I'm always amazed at what you come up with !!! Well done .

Anyway have a good day -- off to pub to watch some UK Premier league footy (here we get the 15.00 games --blocked in UK strangely enough) and plenty of Beers.

    Cheers

True specially as they add more bloat
But I still like the combination of Edge and Chrome, both have their positive features.

You can get one with an extension but it's not great:

    Show Menu Bar in Edge

    I still use Vivaldi.
    I've just installed it (extension):

Then they wouldn't have anything to brag about and pass off as their own exclusive brainchild!

I've blocked the Edge Chromium Update and will stay with Chrome by Google!
