Mine was in the 70% range when both my browser and the windows update both quit. Relaunched settings, windows update was blank. But I didn't reboot my computer right away. I spent another 20 minutes on my computer --- trying to see if it would finish the update in the background.

Then reboot first time, windows update was still blank.

Complete shut down, windows update showed update is finished but need to restart.

Restart my computer, windows update finished successfully.

I assume the update for Edge is going to be a separate one entirely - around the 15th (tomorrow)?

Update completed with no hiccups. Ran scannow, no errors. I have an old toshiba laptop, did take about 45 minutes from start to finish.

Just because its release date is tomorrow, doesn't necessarily mean it will be delivered by windows update immediately (or at all). MS say 'late spring' for consumers. That may mean they intend to wait until the next version of Windows 10 is released before including it as part of W10. It should be available to download and install before that though, if you're keen to get it.

...As we enter the new year, we are excited to share more about how we will expand opportunities for developers, and later in the spring even more for consumers.

What MS fondly calls the "Seekers". Feel like I'm back in the '60s.....
