It also updated the Insider machine I had reset to Release Preview. Unfortunately, it won't start now. The little circle of dots just keeps spinning endlessly. I'll try 19041.21 from UUP Dump today.

Update: All fixed now. Macrium to the rescue yet again.

    Ditto x 2

Had this happen once, figured it was a fluke. Imaged back with Macrium and tried it again.

Same results. Couple of reboots and it becomes unbootable. I let it sit all night spinning the dots.
I was thinking that maybe it would spit out whatever it was and finish booting, that didn't work either.

Had to Macrium image it back again.

Setting this on the back burner until the weekend and I will try a proper clean install.

    peace

I found running the dism cleanup-image command seems to of made my computer hang on boot. Doing a system restore resolved it though.

Now that you mention it, mine also failed boot both times after doing my clean-up routine, which includes that command.

I hadn't considered that could be the cause as I run it after every upgrade/update/install. Never was a problem before.
