Windows Store apps are essential I think for those that run Windows 10 in S mode.

W10 improvement of course --but still actually operating in "Teen Mode"

Maybe next edition of Windows will operate in proper Adult Mode. !!!!

    Cheers

Can’t believe my workplace is installing windows 10 in coming months over 7. The whole design and look of the start menu just doesn’t fit into a business. It just, as has been mentioned, looks like a kids mode. But I agree on 10 improving on 8. I never used it because I couldn’t believe it didn’t have a proper start menu. It just felt like a mobile phone OS.

It's childish to do such a comparison... Win 8 was just the building block for Win 10 (like Vista was for Win 7)

Store is opening up to more than that - MS has done a lot to get Desktop apps there as well.

I don't see the mobile connection with Win 10... our business has been using it since inception without complaint.

What makes you the one to decide what is Childish? Maybe if MS would at least share some information with the People in The IP it would be better. Getting a new build at 5PM on a Friday Night is baloney. I only use 3 apps and any user should have the ability to remove them. The Hub is one of the most useless apps. They always ask for my email address on some reports but never in 5 years have anyone contacted me.
