In the EU you have to positively chose which browser to use from a list in Windows and they are just starting to do that in Android after Google got a huge fine. Somehow Apple always seems to get a pass on that.
Yeah, things would be a lot more fair if the big corporations were held accountable here too.

BTW, I've seen DuckDuckGo mentioned a few times. I had my students set that up on their computers some time ago. I also had them set up security add-ons for Firefox. We did the same for the computers provided by the Senior Activity Center.

System Restore error is back. Even that it shows as being off still getting this -

    Attachment 262461
Try going to System Restore and click on delete restore points. I had to do that on my desktop. System Restore was turned off but was still using 3.2GB.

Always do that to get rid of the error but thanks anyway. Strange that it hadn't occurred the last two flights or so.

Have you ran any programs that may be creating restore points?

None at all. As a matter of fact I check that it's still off from time to time and hibernation is still off. Have no use for either of them.

    Hi folks
I don't know how many use Viso and Project professional but these are extra programs within the Office suite sometimes used in Enterprise type situations --Project is actually quite a decent piece of software while Viso - lesser used but good for flow / process charting etc.

Project installs just fine on this build (as does Office pro). Visio though hangs on install. -- No probs if you are running this build as an update but installing from NEW causes the Visio problem.

    Cheers

I've just noticed something odd and tbh I'm not sure if it is a 'WIndows thing' or an issue with AOMEI... and I'm guessing Windows.

I had reason to restore a disk image made on the 9th January which happened to be an image of the freshly updated current build.

When I look in control panel at my installed programs I'm seeing the date that many of these programs were installed as being the 9th January. Is this a Windows bug in that a new build changes these dates or is it something else?

Quite strange. I restored my host OS of 1909 last Sunday using MR and dates are like usual.

Thanks, it is an odd one. I'll look at them again after the next insider build and see if they have changed again.
