Your welcome it took jason just a few minute to tell me that there was this problem on there side and to try running check update so after mine was fixed was to let the group know

Didn't know the build was out until my machine asked to be restarted. All went well. I haven't seen "Custom".

I’ve seen this, usually it’s when you do a fresh install from a iso, I usually change custom to fast or slow and then custom goes away, custom is Kind of like slow build, if you don’t change it eventually it will change itself to slow or should. Happened to me last time I fresh installed

My 1st attempt to update my desktop to 19041.1 failed, at the final stage, and reverted. I had other stuff to update (the dual boot 1909, and other apps on that installation) so worked on that for an hour or so. Came back to Insider and checked for updates and it claimed it was up-to-date. I had been sent to the "Custom configuration, Release Preview" also. Set it to "Fast" and it now claims to be downloading. Had been showing 0% for several minutes, but is now incrementing the % downloaded.
**Later: Should clarify that the 1st attempt failure was at the final "install" phase, before the configuring and updating phases. Success on the 2nd attempt.

Installation completed, 35 minutes in total.
That is a decrease of 42 minutes compared to 19037.
So far there are no complaints!

Fast update. No discernable changes. Interesting though - 0 bytes delivery optimization files. Have no idea what that means.
