I think there is more promoting of 3rd party programs, in lieu of crappy apps, than encouraging the use of W10 Apps! Pretty sad state of affairs W10 has gotten to!

I had premonition update would come today (yesterday here) but when I checked at usual time (7PM local time) there was nothing. Checked about midnight and it started. Installed in record time, 40 minutes but I left until this morning to check and customize it. To my surprise another cumulative update was available so that was finished in few minutes.

That was touch and go. Froze on booting screen after 28% installing restart. Forced power off then on again. Screen showing 'attempting to continue installation' and it did thankfully.

The last three flights successfully Updated....prior to those, umpteen failures over the last year or so.
Conclusive proof for myself that faulty conflicting AMD Radian software drivers were the cause.

fastest update yet -- maybe Ms are learning after all.

note I'm using Workstation Pro edition.

seems to be working perfectly -- at least I haven't broken anything on it yet -- language OK, WSL OK, Sky Go OK, Office 2019 OK, SAPGUI (to connect with corporate SAP systems) OK, VMWare OK, Network connections OK, SSH / RDP to remote systems OK, VPN OK, media players OK.

Works fine as a VM too.

Can't though see any more builds coming before Xmas -- but who knows !! --Most of Europe shuts down completely from about 19 Dec until around 5 Jan anyway -- not sure about USA so some people over there might still be seeing some new builds. Not sure what Ms has left to do before releasing this one to final though.
