I have found an issue with Windows 10 2004. Cannot open pdf files, tried all pdf files. Will not open with Edge chromium firefox, and Adobe Acrobat Reader. Just install Reader 5 minutes ago, so it is the most recent version. Has anyone encountered this issue.

    Laptop:

    HP Pavilion 15-bc-220nr
250 GB HP SSD 16 GB Ram
    Intel HD 630 & Nvidia GTX 1050 GPU's

    Printer:

HP 8740 Pro All in One Latest driver Dec. 12th 2018
Using HP Smart to scan documents.

Check settings - apps - default apps - choose default application by file type - scroll down to PDF and choose an application.

Using Edge Chromium stable, set as default browser, and application for pdf files. This also occurs with firefox 70.01 and Google Chrome 78.03904.108. Installed and dual booting with Ubuntu 19.10 for the time being. I really don't like dual booting, but I guess until the next Windows 10 2004 update, I will have to.

That I cannot do. After updating I used Aomei to delete and merge partitions. Additionally I ran clean manager and removed windows.old.

I do Have Windows 10 1909 on a flash drive, but I am hesitant to reinstall 1909. Therefore I will temporarily dual boot with Ubuntu 19.10 stable until 2004 goes to stable channel.

Same here. I use Foxit as my default PDF reader and it opens all those files with no problem.
