That's one of the problems, you can't sign-in to Edge with a Google account, only an MS account, although, it's rumored to be able in a future build.

Microsoft Edge on android has AdBlock Plus built-in to the browser, here's hoping that this will be the case to for Edge on desktop.
One of the weakest adblocker implementations. And that's deliberate.

Also a very uninspired homepage. I wish new tab page could be set to any website I wanted but you are forced to watch microsoft logo.

I have been using Edge Beta since its release and I have never used any other browser till now. Also the extensions from Chrome web store work quite well now.

I downloaded internet beta last night, Edwin. Hands down the most customizable & more imporatanly - a reliable browsing experience.

It seems microsoft is working closely with samsung internet devs though judging by the new edge beta UI in A/B testing currently.

I've been using Version 79.0.309.15 (Official build) (64-bit) and have Spartan Edge disabled on my main system and like it. I use the Malwarebytes and my VPN's extension from the chrome web store.
The only issue I have is graphics sometimes get a grainy/blocked appearance, but I imagine this will get sorted out for the next stable build. In VM's the beta builds don't do this, so I'll watch and see.

From my own personal experience I've never really had any issues with ABP, choose the right filters and it works just as well as uBlock Origins IMO.

And at least having a built-in ad blocker will allow you to continue blocking ads even after chrome's adpocalypse comes in the form of google's manifest v3.

Microsoft's End Game is to have control over every device out there. Judge Green Broke up AT&T , it is about time some Judge looks into Microsoft.
