I dont know, first time it's happened.
I note up to the present in this thread only two posts being unable to WU Update...yet during the first three years I never had a problem....whilst others were.
During the past year I have been unable to WU or Use UUPDump first time, always succeeding either in the 2nd or third attempt...have tried numerous methods to find the "culprit" without success.
Any suggestions????
One of my IP computers wasn't getting 19013, I had to do a Reset a few days ago. Got to checking and the IP version had changed to Slow so I put it back on Fast and got 19013 right away using Check for updates. I even found a couple of larger RAM modules so now it's running 6GB instead of 4GB [2 x 2GB and 2 x 1GB]. I'd do more but don't want to buy new RAM, don't have any actual money in this Dell OptiPlex 755.
One of the longest installs in a while. Every insider update deletes my old HP Printer and I have to reinstall. So far all is working well.
Rejoined Skip Ahead branch using the .reg file on this forum signed in as Administrator. Downloading using WU now. I will return to Linux (Ubuntu 20.04) and download the UUPDump there regardless of how this WU (now 8% downloading) turns out. Since we now know that 20H1 will be released in December really not sure if and how the Skip Ahead program is going to work. Any rumors?
Skip Ahead to Next Version of Windows 10 for Insiders in Fast Ring
To the manufacturers/vendors for testing and driver writing, etc. Not to public. Posted many times elsewhere will still be in the Spring. MS puts to bed the final "base code" in December, not the final release to public. That still gets CUs and tweaks as the internal and vendor testing progresses.
