Ironic it is. However it may solve many of MS's security issues (or at least make it better). Either way I'm looking forward to seeing how this develops.

This one's fascinating, the Father of Linux was recently hired on by Microsoft to build a new kernel for Windows (maybe 9) that basically eliminates every problem the current NT kernel has faced (BSODs, malware, STDs, system resource usages sometimes getting hogged, etc.). It's sheer irony, the guy who made an open sourced operating system is working for Microsoft....

But that doesn't mean that Windows 9 won't have a new kernel, it could just be NT kernel 6.5 or 6.4 or even 7...

I don't I think I ever saw this anywhere else on Eight Forums though back in April though...which is interesting as that is a BIG deal.
