Jut tried a fifth machine (Win 10 Pro with a TPM chip) and it is not being offered, so it looks like MS have withdrawn it. My other 4 all received it (much earlier today), including 3 Win 10 Home, one of which doesn't even have TPM!
Just wondering about the merits of keeping it or uninstalling it on the 4 it already erroneously installed on? Is there a chance that uninstalling it could cause problems? Like if it has altered something in the registry that may throw up problems if the corresponding update has been uninstalled? Is keeping it potentially going to cause problems? I don't have an image to restore to unfortunately.
The 'Autopilot' update appears to have been issued mistakenly for most PCs. Try uninstalling it and you will probably find it isn't offered again for your configuration.
Just uninstalled the Autopilot update and no longer offered. I have no use for THAT! Silly Microsoft! :P
I uninstalled this update on just one machine (Windows 10 Home 1903). Since doing this all my restarts are very slow on said machine. When I say slow, I mean there is a hang where it says "restart" with the spinning balls from anything from 20 secs to 2 mins. A full restart to login screen now takes anything from 1.5 mins to 3 mins. This was not the case before uninstalling this autopilot thing (it was always 20 to 40 secs unless configuring updates), so I'm worried getting rid has stuffed something up.
I've left the update on my other 3 machines it was (probably) wrongly installed on, for now anyway. Restart behaviour on those machines is very fast as usual.
