Just getting it now. I moved my daily driver to RP yesterday just in time.

Edit: That was quick. Less than 10 mins.

thanks for mentioning this, fg2001gf10F. I was unable to upgrade from 18363.356 to 18363.418 using the 1909 build 18363.418 ISOs recently released on MSDN/MVS and not having the options to keep existing personal files, settings and apps on a test PC (and no uninstall option to remove the .356 update).

I'm gonna have to redo my 1909 usb install media and get KB4522355 thru uup dumps and create updated 1909 install media and integrate the 4522355 update onto it.
The way I tried this was by first updating from 18363.418 to 18363.446 with W.U. and then I tried the update in place using the 18363.446 ISO. Not sure if you need to be already at 18363.446 for the update in place to work. I think they added the fix for this on 10/17/2019
When I previously tried from 18363.418 to 18363.418 with the ISO it did not work unless I deleted all the files.

I verified that it needs to be already at 18363.446 for the upgrade preserving files and apps to work using the ISO 18363.
You should still be able to upgrade from any 18362 build to 18363.446 using the ISO and preserving the files.

Looks like with build 18363.446 ISO you can finally do an update in place from 18363 to 18363 keeping all the files and programs. All previous builds forced to delete everything.
    This is interesting, fg2001gf10F.
And more up to date than the soon to be released official 418 ISO.

fg2001gf10F this will be interesting. I've ended up with what has been called a 'hybrid build' of 18363.10022 on all of my machines and i'm looking to get rid of it. As has already been said, I don't know when or even if this will get further updates. I've tries in place upgrades of several other builds and none have allowed the upgrade option.

I'm going to give this 18363.446 a go on one machine and see what happens...

EDIT: OK so it's finished ….I have to admit i'm more confused than ever before! Having downloaded the ISO for 18363.446 from UUP i've 'upgraded' this machine and now it's claiming to be on 18683.10024!

It took me till almost midnight. I have no idea why, the last CU installed OK. I had to use MR and Go back to a build from 9.23.2016 and start updating..

    Hi All,
I know we surely don't live in a perfect kind of world..with that being said, this morning I had the bright idea to create a ISO file from the UUP dump site: Summary for Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 (18363.446) amd64, English (United States), Windows 10 Pro - UUP dump
I guess I must have misread/misunderstood what other member's stated in here..I was really hoping by installing this build that I would be able to keep all of my current file's & software, when I went to mount the ISO, I was not offered that option..the only way to install this build was install a fresh copy..which I hate to do. Does anyone have any suggestion's to try ?
    Thanks,
    David

    I think you mean 2019,

I've had to do that sort of thing before with a build that just would not update.

    1) If you are already at build 18363 you must be already up to 18363.446 for the update in place from ISO to work and keep your files.

    2) You can upgrade from any 18362 build to 18363.446 with the ISO and keep the files.

    3) If you are alt 18363 but below .446, you can uninstall the 1909 Enablement package from the control panel and go back to build 18362, then you can upgrade to 18363.446 using the ISO and keeping all your files.

If the installed OS build in your info is correct, you have the Fast ring 19002.1 build installed right now.
If that is the case, to the best of my knowledge, there is no upgrade path with any iso to get back to the
Release Preview build of 18363.446 without doing a clean install and re-doing all you settings and apps.

    peace
    wanna
