My computer seemed to shutdown, but then would not start again. The light was on but no screen action -- totally black. I had to unplug it and plug it in to get it to restart with this build. That's it. No more testing. I find it hard to believe that MS cannot get these issues fixed so that we CAN test the build.
I got the same, but I just did a hard shutdown, then started as normal and it's running right. Gonna shut down to see if it does it again. Well, gotta wait a bit; Feedback Hub wants to know what happened.

I told 'em it didn't shut all the way down when I tried to shut down normally, so I had to do a hard shut down. I then did a restart and it started normally. Now it's not shut down all the way again ... Oh, it just took a bit for the power light to go out.

Restarted normally, so I guess it's a one-time thing. Whew!

i just joined the Insider Programme so i could get the November 2019 Update early. but Windows Update is only offering me Insider Preview 19002.1 (vb_release). I fear i've messed up right because i didn't select "Release Preview". instead i think i selected slow (recommended). but i changed it to fast then to "Release Preview" but too late? please tell me i don't now have to now do a clean install to get the November 2019 Update?? i'm running v1903 build 18362.418.

    UPDATE:
i have set to "Release Preview". i did Windows Update again this time it gave me 1909!

This thread has stagnated for a few days, or have I missed an update?

There was a CU to take it to 19002.1002 to fix the shutdown problem.

That wasn't completely fixed, Keith. I still got Shutting Down forever and three days before I had to do a hard shutdown. After that, though, things were OK.
