Fairly quick and uneventful. Installed on first go around and I show no signs of shutdown/restart bug.
(Didn't have any issues with the shutdown problems on the last buid either.) Just lucky I guess.
All done cleaned up and imaged with Macrium Reflect. Time to do some surfing and play some Games.
Will post back if I find anything interesting or earth shattering to report.

The update went OK without any incident but, it took longer than the previous one (18999 "39 minutes") and this one 60 minutes.
After the restart fiasco, the install went fine and pretty quick.
Once it got to restart, all was good.
Tested restart twice, and shutdown once, with no problems. For a version that didn't get the restart problem fixed, it has done very well![]()
My laptop took 1 hour and 4 minutes from start to finish. The restart worked without any problems. Now to try my desktop.
Screaming right along. 18999 took 8 hr on one system and 5 hr on the ancient lap with a bad battery and now a screen that likes it darker. All this just short the power with my tin foil hat has not done it any favors.
shutdown /r /t 120 /f was great for servers back in the day, but with the bitlocker situation, I'd tried that 6 months ago and all I remember is that it somehow ended up being a nice way to log out.
It's about time to put a few robust things in the IP.
BTW, need a quick restart? Touch Drive File Stream. Think about it and that pretty green screen shouts, "You rang?"
