I got a prompt this morning around 7:55am to install this update from build 18362.10022 and almost 25 minutes later it is still stuck at 77% complete with the occasional flicker from my case HDD light to indicate anything is actually happening. It’s taking so long that my screen keeps turning off (a power setting) which at first made me think that it had crashed. The second time I thought it had restarted my PC.

And as I typed that, my PC *did* restart and the update is now at 88% complete. Thank goodness for that. Odd how such a minor update, if the build number is anything to go by, takes so long to install.

Now complete and booting into Windows. Took around 30 minutes to install! That’s on a 1 TB Samsung 850 Pro SSD.

Sat down at my desk this morning, found the news about yesterday's release, checked my Slow Ring test machine: already downloaded and through the GUI install portion. Just restarted and it's already 35% into the blue "Working on Updates" post-GUI screen. Fingers crossed, as always, but so far, so good.
    --Ed--

[PS Added 5 mins later] Got through post-GUI install to desktop in under 5 minutes. Came up without "seeing" the plugged-in USB 2TB external HDD plugged into the Surface Pro 3 dock. Unplug/reinsert gets it registered, but now wondering if Macrium backup will complete successfully or not, as described in my Windows Enterprise Desktop blog post yesterday: Fixing Surface Pro 3 USB Drive Drop. Worked! So at least, I don't have to go back in to re-edit the registry key described therein.

I moved from the Slow Ring to the Preview Ring, build 18362.10022, a couple of days ago, and this morning (10/17) I received and updated to 18362.10024 without a problem! On my way to the 18363 final November build! Huzzah!

I want to cleaninstall one of my PC's.
A quick question ... if I download the ISO and make a bootable USB-stick with this (look at the link), will I then be running ver 1909 "insider official" Fall update from Microsoft? Or do I have to wait for the official link in Media creation tool before this is a true 1909?

Forgot the link: Select language for Feature update to Windows 10, version 1909 (18363.418) amd64 - UUP dump

No, it went from 18362.10024 to 18363.10024 . It seems impossible for me to get 18363.418 for some reason. I guess Microsoft don't like me

I'm having the exact same problem. I've tried so many fixes and different ISOs from UUP that i'm sick of it now. Whatever I do I cannot move off of .100xx builds!
