That comment by Woody was very tongue-in-cheek. Notice the quote marks around BETA. Don't take everything to see on the 'net as gospel. And always consider the source, such as that one.

It is a well known fact that when Windows first releases a FU or any CU for that matter; it is recommended to not install it right away; otherwise you are considered as a beta tester because of the bugs that it generally entails. In reality, the new version itself is not a beta one.
f14tomcat, so, that was basically a false saying that it is in beta?
    IronZorg, that solves the question.

The above is what the article said.

Woody is notoriously 'anti-MS' Actually 1909 will be a very minor update to 1903. Most of the code is already there, the feature update will just turn it on. For quite some time now both 1903 and 1909 have been sharing the same cumulative updates.

...the May 2019 Update (version 1903) and November 2019 Update (version 1909) share the same servicing content. That means they share the same Cumulative Update packages...

Is this true? Ignite was on October 3rd last year, so it should be on this date.
Where did you hear this from ?
Source link would be helpful and should always be included.

If the rumors are true, the next feature release for Windows 10 will begin trickling out on November 12. It looks like Version 1909 won’t be the big deal we thought it might be, which is all the more reason to not be one of the early adopters — unless you really like testing “beta” operating systems.

And as you've been told, Woody is anti-Microsoft, so take everything from that site with a grain of salt.

    BTW, I'm already running "1909".

It's very stable, and I'm not finding any problems using it for my day-to-day work.

And now we see someone using it. Did you use UUP or did you download directly?

And in reality, Build 18363.1000 is very stable, to say the least.

And that leaves me to ask, Should I upgrade to 1909 now or wait?
