    Windows 18362-418 Slow bootup

    Hi

Deja Vu ,once again a problem on bootup after this installation .

Before updateboot time was 22 secs, after update 52 secs... no change in start up programs / services at all !

This happened with a previous update earlier in the year but was rectified by Microsoft.

    Anyone similar experience ?

Reatek UAD drivers with Realtek Audio Console 3 / Sonic Studio 3

    Hi

Another issue with update 418 on my Asus Z390E system is that the Realtek Console will now not run at all with Sonic Studio installed , thus leaving the main sound settings inaccessible.

    Neither show installation errors.

After 2 hours of trying sound with the Windows update .418 and comparing to reverting back to .388 update , confirms this problem .
I have now had to disable windows updates and after uninstalling Sonic Studio, the Realtek Console eventually only works on its own with 6.0.8791.1 main driver .

No problem with previous Windows 10 updates, as I have the correct drivers for this system.

    Any comments please ?

I've attempted multiple times to install KB4517389 only to have it fail. I had it install 1 time only to have it totally disable my network adapter, so I uninstalled it.

All other install attempts return a 0x800f0845 error code. I don't know what this means other than every time I did a hard reboot a couple times to force an uninstall because the system would seem to hang forever after a reboot not getting past the spinning circle and never continue booting into Windows to finish the Windows update.

With reading people saying that after an install it causing their start menu to not load, I don't know if I even want to attempt to install again or see what happens with the next CU (if it even installs). This would be the second CU that failed to install on my system. The other was KB4524147 with the same error code for the same reason (doing hard reboots to force an uninstall due to it hanging with spinning circle).

    OK to use elsewhere?

I recently used an ISO I built using UUPDump of v1909 bld 18363.418 to update my production PC. And while I am not surprised that it worked, I am surprised it did not turn on Insider in the process -- which is a good thing!

So, is it safe to use that same ISO to update other PCs? Or was I just lucky that it didn't turn my desktop into an Insider PC?

With build 18363.418, it is like you are already on version 19H2 which is not officially released yet. The build for 19H1 is 19362.418. They look alike because they share the same servicing cadence. In a way, it is like you are on the release preview of 19H2. The reason why it didn't change into Insider Program is because you used UUPDump .iso

We are now getting the Windows 10 November 2019 Update (19H2) ready for release. We believe that Build 18363.418 is the final build and we will continue to improve the overall experience of 19H2 on customers’ PCs as part of our normal servicing cadence. Build 18363.418 includes all of the latest 19H2 features as well as the latest fixes included as part of KB4517389. Windows Insiders in the Release Preview ring already have this build, so no action is needed from them to get this build.

Unrelated but I am seeing 5 tabs in place of 3 in Microsoft Store today. They did something?

Why is 1909 stuff being posted in this thread about a 1903 CU that was released on the 8th?

Has anyone experienced these issues in this update? I haven't experienced a single 1903 issue till now.
