This was a most bizarre update. Both Fast and Skippy kept trying to force driver updates along with the build. Too pooped right now to try to explain, but they popped up as "optional". Just about every device driver I have. Finally got it shut up.

I am using an UUP iso saved on a usb flash drive. Immediately after failure and reversion on the first attempt and without doing anything. Remounted the iso and within 45 minutes desktop and 18995 is installed. Will be using that same usb flash drive on computer #2....maybe tomorrow.

Updated to 18995.1 using WU on the first try. All went well.

EDIT: I also have two optional driver updates that won't go away and won't update nor do they need updating. Both are for Canon MX922 which works fine. Can't make them go away.

Very weird. Update history said the update failed but winver disagreed. Showed 18995.1.
Checked for updates - none, up to date.
Re-checked history and failed entry gone and no success entry for 18995! Last entry is for 18990.

UUPDUMP completed. Burning ISO to DVD. I would guess that next week we will get the first of the 19xxx builds. I wonder if Skip Ahead will open up soon for 20H2 builds. As always, we will see.

Updated to restart prompt in physical instance of 18990 but UUPtoISO failed.

Please look into this Kari (others may have to informl him since he may lnot see my posts).

Update using WU failed (could be related to UUPtoISO errors). GSOD followed by reverting to 18990. I'm going to try to see if I can use the DVD created from UUPDUMP but I suspect there may be failure ....
