System #2, 18985 reverts using WU. Made iso from UUP, first attempt failed with a revert and this message. 3rd attempt with iso installed. I am in the phase now where it requires 3 attempts? Anybody decode this message for a clue?? Tx
You can try to disable your A-V if it is a third party one. Also disable USB Device, e.g., Smart card, and run the following comand-line in an elevated command-prompt (admin):

    rundll32.exe pnpclean.dll,RunDLL_PnpClean /DRIVERS /MAXCLEAN

After that, retart the PC, and if it still doesn't work, try it again in clean boot. Make sure also you are having the right .iso from UUPDump that goes with your machine (bittedness x64, I suppose, OS build)

    Hope that helps!

EDIT: If The above fails to fix your issue, you can always try to reset Windows Update:

And run dism. exe ... restorehealth and sfc /scannow. Reboot your machine and try again!

Tx for that. As noted, the 3rd attempt with the iso did install. No 3rd party on A-V except MWBytes. I disconnect everything from the computer before any install, only the C: is present. However will be keeping your response for the next build as a reference.

    IronZorg89...

Can you explain the command please? What is it expected to do. I'm thinking it deletes unnecessary drivers, maybe.

Your guess is right. It removes unused drivers that can be causing issues with your sytem. For an overview of what it exactly does:

None as such, you just have to be aware that something bad might happen at some point and worst case you might need to do a reinstall. Go into it with your eyes open (so have backup plan and your data safe) and you should enjoy the ride. That said, my experiences have been very positive and little quirks and issues that have arisen I've found interesting.

I would advise @sbh7600 to either use virtual drives or create a dual boot system so you have a separate partition for Insider Builds, thus, keep your Production machine totally free from any Insider Previews, betas, alphas, etc. Oh, yeah, and be sure to backup your system with Macrium Reflect which most folks here use.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh Nooooooooooooo! I allus reads da background information! That mean I gets no respect!?!?

Seriously, I've been back to read it a couple more times since I first joined the Insider Program. I guess I'm just one of those who read before asking questions. Not that I don't ask my share . . .
