On one computer (SKIPPY), the download took place, then gave me a dialog box saying "DOWNLOAD" -- so it started all over again to download what it had already downloaded and installed. The WU system still isn't fixed!

Getting preliminaryi updates right now .1006 Advanced Micro Devices (screen just blanked for a moment). Right now I'm using Windows 10 Pro N for Workstations and it is reasonably speedy. Gotta restart - see you on the other side.

22 mins to download, now installing. There was no 'Getting Things Ready' phase at the very start of this one.

I wonder if they are doing A/B testing on the update.
    Must be. But I don't know if I'm A or B!

So far I've tried three times downloading this update and it fails. It errors with 0x80080005. The past four updates have been good and now I get this again. Too late tonight to sort this out so will try in the morning.
