All I get is an antivirus update.
It's Window Update MiniTool - many on the forum use it to control what updates are installed on their systems.
I think i may have found the reason it didn't install - seems my active hours were set from 21:00 to 15:00 (i haven't a CLUE as to how they were set for those crazy times - i left them as 09:00 - 17:00 default) When i changed them, i went into Settings - Win Updates & all 3 were listed (even though the malicious tool & .NET update were installed) I clicked on download, each of the 3 downloads went through the motions of downloading & installing - after about 2 minutes, i was left with a blue box asking whether i wanted to restart now or to pick a day/time to install the Insider Preview - i picked tomorrow since i don't know how long it will take or what issue(s) i'll run into.
Hi All,
I was on the slow release option, but after speaking with a friend that is on the fast release cycle I decided to switch to the fast release cycle as well. I normally go to this site to grab software when I need it : UUP dump
that's what I did tonight. Now I'm on Version 1903 Build 18975.1000, I guess when I updated to this build that my branch in settings under the 'Windows Insider Program' heading would automatically be switched to the 'fast' build selection. So far it's still on the 'slow' build selection..should I leave it alone or change the selection to 'fast' ?
Thanks,
David
Hi,
Since I really DO value the opinion's of 'seasoned' user's in here, I'll take your advice and change my build selection from slow to fast.
Thanks,
David
Update: Now I'm officially on the fast build branch, like everyone else I'll be having a wait & see frame of mind.![]()
