I had to run dism restore health to fix some corrupt files which allowed me to install 325 so now I'm in the process of trying to get 329.

Spent several hours of futzing and putzing around trying to get this installed last night through Windows Updates with no luck.

Downloaded the ISO from UUPDump and mounted that up, and it installed straight away doing upgrade/save settings and files.

    peace

327 is the current version for Release Preview. 295 should have been what you were on prior to this KB.

After installing this update, I tried to check the "winver". But the search function does not work. Blank window, doesn´t respond to any input.

I had the same high 30% on searchUI.exe and search box was a blank black.
I use shutup10 to disabled the first option for Cortana (Cortana reset and disable) and I did the bing Regedit which is same as shutup10 Misc extension of windows 10 search with bing disabled.
Rebooted and that fixed it, the search box is working.

Now I wonder if just the bing one is needed.

I was looking in reg for AllowCortana which used to be here, but I am not seeing it there, anyway, the first option in Cortana section of shutup10 I believe is that setting.

    Disable Cortana
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Windows Search]
    “AllowCortana”=dword:00000000

If you're using search to look for winver and then run it, hold the WIN KEY, tap R, then type winver.

    Or from a command prompt.

    Or Settings>System>About
