Yes I noticed to, after updating I had a restore point and cleared it even though I have it set to off
Interesting to know, thanks. I think I'll report this one on the Feedback Hub.

@kado897 I think I've solved the ever increasing space taken by later insider builds. I restored an older image and found that even though System Restore is OFF, there were restore points being saved. This seems to have started happening from two or three builds back on my system.

This shows Treesize view of the latest build vs an earlier build I restored as a test.

That's weird. I've had it turned on and off by an upgrade but never had RPs being taken when off. Unless it got turned on by one update and later turned off by another after RPs taken.

Can you test out that when you open a few apps such as excel and a browser in one virtual desktop, and later while working in another virtual desktop, IF you try to open either one of those again, it will automatically send you back to the first virtual desktop, instead of treating that desktop as an individual desktop, as it says it will do in settings. Thanks.

Working as always. Not sure, if I get what you said up there..
Working on 1st desktop, move to other and open few apps in 2nd. Back to 1st and click on app (in taskbar) that is on 2nd.. gets me to 2nd display...

Apps are opening on desktops where they were started. Working fine by me.

When doing repair install will I lose any installed apps? and or customized settings? Does it revert them like when doing a update?

No, repair install leaves everything as it was, just Windows system is refreshed.. It was like that for after 5 or so I have done in the last years.
Not sure about customized settings.. depends I think, on the level of them
