Installing Chromium Edge doesn't affect original Edge as both run separately.
Well this is correct but I read that sometimes the original Edge disappears from the Start Menu after installing a chromium version. However it remains installed and can be launched via the Windows key + R microsoft-edge:

Mine didn't disappear, however, all one needs to do is right click on the icon once launched and pin it to the menu or taskbar.

Exactly, since both versions of Edge have different icons.

I have not used Edge Beta for a while because of a problem I was having with it getting very slow on version 77.0.235.25. I got a message from MS last week saying they fixed it.

I checked it to day and it is now on version 78.0.276.8 and working fine again.

My Edge beta also updated today on my desktop, however, on my 32 bit laptop I receive an error.

The latest update to Version 78.0.276.11 (Official build) beta (64-bit) has broken video playback on the Spectrum TV website.
This is the website that I use to watch my local cable programming on my pc. Site still works fine on old edge and on the latest release of chrome.
No other settings in Edge beta were changed by me. The only thing different is the new update from them. So it has to be something they broke.

    peace

FYI Google Chrome also has a beta browser just in case anyone is interested in trying it. I switched to it a little while ago and it works great for me.
