I understand what you mean about personal preferences, but I keep an open mind too. Can you say how the new Edge runs smoother? Does it switch tabs or open menus more quickly than FF did for you?

Being able to use the Chrome store extensions will make all the difference.
For me the difference is mostly on heavy sites, for example on reddit. I can scroll down very smoothly and all videos
play and images show instantly with no lag time. Same site on firefox has short pauses during scroll for images to
appear and videos also start to play after few seconds etc.. But to be honest as I said ,what got me really excited
was the fact that MS gave up on wanting to impose their own browser and chose a more customizable and versatile
browser. I always had 3 browsers installed: MS default, firefox as my main browser and chrome for being able to
cast to TV and the translation etc. Now one browser is doing it all for me! I still don't know about this new browser
    when it comes to privacy.
Btw ccleaner dose not support this browser

Yea but that's based on the non Chromium Edge. I think Davy wants the Chromium Edge on Android too (which I'm sure will happen at some point).

Edge on Android is already using Android WebView with updated V8 engine. There's nothing more to be desired.

It should. You should be able to switch from Edge Spartan sync to Edge Cromium.

Go to Settings -> Account -> Sync To and switch what you want to sync.

Had to back away from Edge Beta. Sites are slow to load and sometimes it flashes a screen that there is no internet then loads the page. Back on Firefox for now and all is fine, but will check Edge Beta from time to time.

That's really weird. I have been using the beta as my main browser for weeks and have not had any issues like that.

fyi Version 77.0.235.25 (Official build) beta (64-bit) is out now.

    peace
    wanna
