OMGosh! What a ridiculous mess! I'll bet I had at least six or eight mouse clicks, and now I have to check my email and jump through a few more hoops, just to update a tiny notepad app!

    Sheesh!

Hang on a minute . . . I know where there's a thread about this very issue. Be right back.

Edit: Go to the link I'm giving you and start reading. It's somewhat technical, but maybe you can figure it out. I'd say, start reading from where the link takes you. After that, maybe read from the beginning of the thread. Simrick is one of our gurus, and she got hit with the RST thing too.

I updated RST drivers, still get 1903 Update error

Do you have an SSD drive? Or a regular hard drive?

And with this now being in the Store, even non IP build users can install it. I just installed it on a 1903 system that I restored last night.

Eh? I clicked the link Leo posted, it opened in my browser, then I clicked the Get link, and it opened the Store app, and then I clicked the get link in the Store app - and it installed.

    What'd you do?

And, in addition, are you running a RAID configured system on that machine? If you're not running a RAID, RST is worthless to you and you can uninstall it. And the post that Wynona linked you to says the exact same thing, by multiple people there as well.

Then you don't need RST at all, since it doesn't work on an SSD.

Let me check with Simrick and see exactly what she uninstalled to get things to finally work. It may take awhile, but I'll be back with info for you.
