Tried to get via the normal route: Settings > Updates & Security > Windows Update. Check for Updates many times and it never showed up. I think I know the reason behind that, but I would probably explain my problem later on in another post —It has to do with trying to fix the issue I had and still having with File Explorer's search bar not showing.
At any rate, I am trying to get it right now via UUPDump .ISO (in the process of converting it to .iso).
Success on first attempt with WU here, 1h20 overall. But a different installation pattern. I have 3 monitors, one driven by the onboard graphics, the others by an add on video card (GTX 1660) which is set as primary in the UEFI BIOS. The up to 30% "working on updates" showed on my primary monitor. At the reboot it switched to the on-board graphics driven monitor, and stayed there though the next reboot, and progressed to 85%. Rebooted, came back to my primary at 75 % then progressed to completion. Not much testing done yet, but what I have tried works as expected.
Well that was a struggle.
Stuck at 100% installing. Tried Update and restart from the start menu. It did a normal restart. WU went back to Downloading and rapidly up to 100% Install and then gave me a Restart button. The restart was really slow but after 35 mins finally got me to the desktop. After midnight here so I will tidy up in the morning.
Had success on the 2nd attempt. Don't know why it does not work on the first attempt and works on the 2nd. Both done on WU, with no bouncing this time. On the 1st attempt, after installing was complete, the notification to [Restart] is non responsive in the normal area, and only restarted within the blue notification area. The notification to [Restart] on the second attempt, the blue notification area was not present, only the normal RESTART button worked, Weird?? Now I have 4 feature updates showing
