Here's a problem with virtual desktops that I'v noticed, and thinking about putting some feedback into the hub if any of you guys are experiencing it as well. Let's say I open an Excel spreadsheet and a Chrome browser window on any particular desktop. Then I go to a different desktop to do other work. but while there, I decide I need to look at another spreadsheet, or use the browser to check something online, if I click either, the OS just switches me back to that other desktop, instead of treating that particular virtual desktop as its own desktop. That is a problem IF you want to use each desktop separately, and have it supposedly set in settings to do so. I welcome any feedback from any of you on this topic.

    According to the same link:
We are working on a resolution and estimate a solution will be available in late August.

So, all the steps you did were only to try to mitigate the issue. I am afraid you will have to wait after late August for MS to finally be able to fix it.

Linkpa, Simrick uninstalled everything related to RST, then went to Intel and got the latest update. That solved her issue. You might try the same thing.

    Crazy!

The only other thing I can think of is UUPDump. Once created, copy the ISO to your desktop, right click it, then "open with" File Explorer.

Probably not a good idea to force it Wynona. MS will have blocked it for a reason.

Believe me, Keith, if Microsoft has blocked it, it won't update! Even with UUPDump.
