57? Only about another hour at that rate. If it gets past 80-82%, it won't roll-back. Probably. Attachment 242569
I don't know how long it took, 'cause I was busy with something else, but I have just finished entering my PIN and seems to be preparing for access to the desktop with the message: "Making sure everything is ready to go". I think I am going to make it.

Really odd one happened to me. Twice, the physical OS and the VM. After the update, TreeSize would not close with the red "X" upper right, had to use right-click close. Only app to do this. Probably a TreeSize issue, but odd nonetheless.
Ran into the same issue with Windows Live Mail not wanting to close with the red "X" in the upper right.
I have been using it since 2012, and throughout all of the Insider Builds I have tried and never had any problems with it before.
It closes fine from the file menu, and I can also right click it off from the task bar just fine. I tried to re-install it, but still only ended up with the same result.
May be similar to what f14tomcat is experiencing with his Treesize program. Not going to sweat it any more for now, we'll see if it persists through the next build.

    peace

I think these builds are getting more and more buggy and many insiders are getting more and more disenchanted with even trying to test them. Instead of spending time sorting out the bugs, MS functionaries are adding more and more ‘clutter’.

Finally made it to desktop and my drive letters are there, except for the fact they are showing twice in the navigation pane as is usual with each upgrade. I always have to go to "Delegate folders" in registry editor to fix the darn thing. And still, my search bar in File Explorer is rendering in a small box. This one has been going on for the last 3-4 insiders builds upgrade. I definitely don't have a clue on how to fix it.

I've waited until this morning. 30 minutes in and I'm at 99% downloaded. All has gone quiet

After a really slow start of download (20 minutes just to start) and slow download (10 -12Mbps) it started installation but downloaded some more stuff. Was this canonical download again ?
Anyway, it installed without a hitch in short time although SSD was at 100% for most of those 15 minutes. I made ISO as usual and did cleanup and added my customizing by importing settings from Winaero Tweaker.
All seems to be working fine although system checks end up like this again:

Repeated it several times but no dice, same every time. Didn't benchmark it yet but doesn't seem to have any slowdowns.

It was quite a big download but not big enough to be canonical.

...so about an hour in total to reach the restart phase. Having restarted I left it finalising the install for ten minutes, looked in and the desktop was on display. So that part was pretty quick.

    Hi folks

@CountMike -- UUPDUMP etc very quick today -- creating the ISO also was very fast -- and the 2 installs (Windows for Workstations) took around 12 mins each (from the iso stage) -- did the two together not one after the other.

Installed the W10 for workstations via UUPDUMP -->select W10 Pro and then add editions -- W10 for workstations. Then when running the iso you can select the edition to install (new install of course if you aren't upgrading the same edition).

Did 2 installs --one as a VM and one on a spare NAS as a physical machine --- have the keys from Work so OK there.

Good bit -- system is slick and on dual XEON (older processor) it really flies !!!

I like also that all those ridiculous tiles have gone -- on a professional Work machine we don't need all those games and other Ms silly things -- there's just 3 tiles : Ms Edge, Office and Store -- I don't use any of those (possibly edge as a PDF reader but that's it)

    Defects though so far

    1) On the VM (Linux Host with 5.x kernel) VMWare Bridged networking fails -- not a VMWare problem here as other editions of Windows as VM's on same Host with same kernel Bridged networking works correctly.

    2) Language settings still horribly messed up and all over the place.

I'll delve further but this edition seems worth keeping --especially on the dual XEON machine. It definitely seems to perform better on that type of hardware than bog standard Windows.
