Really odd one happened to me. Twice, the physical OS and the VM. After the update, TreeSize would not close with the red "X" upper right, had to use right-click close. Only app to do this. Probably a TreeSize issue, but odd nonetheless.

That spot, 30%, historically has been where it installs graphic drivers, if that gives any clue. Screen will go blank for just a moment, then come back.
Thanks for the reminder, but what worries me is that it has been sitting at 30% and won't budge. I will try to be patient as long as I don't end up with a failed error message.

I'll run UUPtoISO as well as using UUPDUMP which is finished. Everything going swimmingly - so far. Naturally - I'm in Linux (ahem(

If it just sits and sits and you end up deciding to kill it anyway, try rebooting the GPU first, right where it is. CTRL+WINKEY+SHIFT and "B". Worst that can happen is it fails anyway.

I will wait a bit before going that route. This old clunker (second machine, 13-14 + years old) is known to be slow with insiders builds. Thanks again!

18956 installed in less than 45 minutes using WU. No obvious problems.

It has moved a bit just now at 57%. So, that is a sign it is working so far...

57? Only about another hour at that rate. If it gets past 80-82%, it won't roll-back. Probably. New Windows 10 Insider Preview Fast+Skip Build 18956 (20H1) - August 7-hide.gif

Figured I'd give this one a shot, as it had been a while since I'd tried one because of the anti-cheat issues. Installed pretty quick from ISO, all my Ubisoft games launch properly (Ghost Recon Wildlands would GSOD because of the anti-cheat stuff before). Guess I'm gonna take this one for an extended test drive.
