Don't know why some of you guys use WU..it sucks for Insiders..
Always do mine with UUPDump .iso.
From start to finish (this build) 25 minutes with no failures or BSOG/GSOD for ages.

Agree it's faster but if you don't want to have to reinstall all your programs and restore data it would be a pain to clean install evey build unless it's really a test machine with nothing on it

You can do an inplace install with an iso made from uupdump. But I think it’s important to critique the WU process and provide feedback to MS to let them know of issues with download. That’s an insider perspective.

Finally made it to desktop about 45 mins ago. Here is the rundown in my case. I noticed that since I have have been upgrading the Insiders builds, the time it took to go from downloading to Restart (Reboot) is more or less the same, if not shorter than the one from Restart to Desktop. And each time after the upgrade my CPU usage is very high for "System Interrupts" and "Windows Explorer" totalling 89.5%, let alone all my settings that have been put back to normal in Registry and Task Scheduler. What a drag!. I have to redo everything with each upgrade.

In a way, while I like UUPDUMP and have said so many times, I guess part of the Insider testing relates to using WU and that's what I'm doing right now. My PC vendor rushed to get the machine ready as I had to take my wife for eye surgery, and forgot to plug in the CD-ROM drive. I still will probably have to take it back because there appears to be a bug in the Gigabyte BIOS. at least with ver 31. The first time you boot you can enter setup and change what you need to (like enabling virtualization) but on subsequent reboot none of the keyboard shortcuts work so you can't enter the BIOS again using DEL. Regardless I was able to use the @BIOS program to upgrade to ver 32 but of course that didn't help - not did I expect it to. There appear to be hardware tricks to allow one to enter the BIOS by rearranging jumpers but if so that would be something my wife would normally and because of her surgery she can't for awhile. Well OK I'll work without virtualization for a rew days - no biggy. Normally I would install Linux on my smaller SSD but I don't think I remembered to change the boot order to test the CD-ROM first. BIOS developers have the stupidest defaults. The windows update to ver 18950.1000 is installin so I suppose I will see you on the other side. I will use UUPtoISO to create the ISO>

Getting things Ready, Downloading, Installing and the Restart worked normally.
But believe it or not got stuck at 100%. in the updating process.
Took a risk and did a soft reset, on return screen came back at "updating 100%", then did its own restart and the final stage completed and the new version is now running fine.

Edit: First boot after install started. Working on updates 58% it says.

All good here. First I knew of it was when it wanted to restart! One very small bounce in setup but no prob.
