Windows 10 Service Release 1 Inbound for Next Week
-
Only issue I have with Windows 10 is I have an account with Zino where you can read digital magazines on line. Neither IE11 or Edge will read them. IE11 read them in Windows 8.1 but since the upgrade to Windows 10 IE will no longer read them. Had to install Chrome in order to read them.
I tried one of Zinio's free magazines and was able to view it just fine in Edge. Do you have Flash enabled in Edge? Or could the popup be blocked?
There's also a Zinio App in Windows Store:

They are all probably getting a big chuckle in MSville out of our anticipation of SR1.
I don't think they are laughing much right now
-
That's my understanding as well. SR1 is coming out this week if not today.
I doubt it'll be out today, they just got back to work after the weekend. If they could have got it out today, they likely could have got it out before the weekend.

So the SR1 update hasn't basically arrived, right ?
It's supposed to come later this week ?

My understanding is that MS said that SRs are supposed to bring new stuff and come more often (maybe twice a month), not only fixes and this last relatively large update didn't bring anything new, not even any new stuff for Edge promised a while ago. That's another reason why last update is actually not SR1.

Nothing here yet. Got a Definition Update for Windows Defender and then it looked for more updates but didn't find any.

Would the SR-1 be found in the Windows Store ?

Would the SR-1 be found in the Windows Store ?
No, it will be available through Windows Update only.
