That's not SR1. That's the cumulative update that everyone received last week. I am not an insider and I received it already.

SR1 is suppose to be released today, according to the original post in this thread.
That's my understanding as well. SR1 is coming out this week if not today.

I guess that is a great idea, I have WiFi and LAN so I'll disconnect LAN and set WiFi to Metered. I have pro and thought I could control updates but haven't found any settings.
Since you have the Pro version you can follow the steps in this tutorial using Group Policy Editor to disable automatic updates.

To be fair I really want it too but it appears to be only that one site proclaiming it, no other real sources. Hope I`m wrong and it arrives soon.

Well, I hope it fixes the issue I have of 8 different Apps not updating, just sitting in a queue that never shows any progress in the progress bars, and also makes Mail work again.

Now that I think about it, it would be more likely for it to be released tomorrow. Second Tuesday of the month.

If you're still an Insider, you've already got it - it came out on the 5th, and put a lot of systems into a perpetual boot loop.

For some, the only answer is an in-place upgrade from w10 to w10, booting from USB/ISO and choosing INSTALL, then selecting to keep all apps and files.

COMPUTIAC is talking about Service Release 1, which, according to scuttlebutt should be coming out today, Simrick. It was the Cumulative Update that caused all the havoc.

It seems a lot of folks have been confusing the two.

Until the confusion between the Cumulative Update and Service Release 1 is solved, ain't no way we'll ever see the end of it! :)

OK, the Cumulative Update caused all the havoc with "BootLoop".

Windows 10 Service Release 1 doesn't seem to have been released to us yet. Also, FWIW, I'm pretty sure that everyone should get Service Release 1, both Insiders and those who are not Insiders.
