Posted this yesterday accidentally in wrong thread:

Almost three hours, then reverted to previous build.

    Hi @Kari

Installed OK -- HP Envy laptop with Intel core i5-6200U CPU @2.30 -2.40 GHz InteL integrated graphics

Took just under 30 mins from the setup.exe from iso made via uupdump (i.e excude time to download and create the iso).

I noticed that it did around 6 restarts during install -- more than other builds.

language display still partially broken -- settings etc shoud be in installed icelandic languge (works in the 19H1 releases).

However I want to test the WSL 2 features.

    Cheers

Build 18941 installed OK on my system. I was out for several hours while the download/install/whatever phases were occurring. It was waiting for me to click restart when I returned. The configuring updates phase took a long time, not timed, but my perception was that it was much longer than usual. Then restarts occurred at 30%, 75% (which proceeded to 85%) then restarted again, but back at 75%.
Haven't come across any showstoppers yet.

Let's be honest - unless you use Korean, this is a really pointless upgrade. I am getting weary of Fast Ring upgrades that are little more than maintenance upgrades. That is not why most of us joined the Fast Ring. We joined to get early sight of new features so we could provide feedback on the direction of DEVELOPMENTS. So far we have been running Fast Ring builds for 4 months now and barely anything SIGNIFICANT to show for it. There are so many things that could be developed including Tabs for File Explorer but nada, zilch, zip, sfa! MS have run out of ideas!!!! To me, the Insider Programme has come to the end of its useful life unless MS up their game. We need a new leader - time for Dona to go.
I agree with you. M$ should not release a new build to all, for a language update for some. And it is getting very tiresome for them to break something in one build, and announce that they've fixed it in another, over and over. It is supposed to be about new features, and we haven't seen any of that in a long time. Finally, most of the newest features they came out with, were later dropped, or still don't work correctly. But they are exstatic to announce new emoji's. This is definitely wearing thin...

In the process of restarting now. Only 2 hrs so far. No looping at all.

Just landed on the desktop. Fastest for me for a long time.

    Hi there

WSL 2 is in this release --that's a major decent feature
OK Sandbox needs more work to make it even passably useful
I think also some file system that permits long directory + file names ( >266 chars or so) could be implemented as well as sensible RAID / striping -- current storage spaces are a bit of a "joke".

I'm not sure why or how so many people have problems installing this upgrade -- I find if you use UUPDUMP it genearlly works every time and certainly doesn't take the several hours some people report on this board (and I'm not using a Cray super computer either). !!!!

    Cheers

All installed OK here. Took around 70 minutes in total and this time the restart worked OK with no black screen for a desktop (which has previously required a sign out/in to get it back).
