It wouldn't install on my Skippy machine, but I couldn't resist trying a UUPDump ISO in spite of reports that was no good either. Surprise! I installed from a USB drive and it worked perfectly.

BTW, it installed on both of my skippy computers.

Is the recent documents text fixed ?
Where it says you've opened documents in quick access, does the text still have weird characters?

I had an issue - The UUPDUMP.ml created .ISO would not get written to USB. Rufus balked, and loading the .ISO and manually copying the files balked. I created another .ISO and it balked too. I had to re-download the archive from UUPDUMP for it to finally work on copying to UFD.

Now, all 3 machines are updated via the .ISO.

Mine seems fixed with this latest build.

Dona has little to do with determining the direction Windows takes. She takes what she is given to put out for testing.

Once again reverted to previous....really pissed off with MS consistently releasing crap.
It's not unheard of to have bugs in Insider Previews. From Post 1:

IMPORTANT: As is normal with builds early in the development cycle, these builds may contain bugs that might be painful for some. If you take this flight, you won’t be able to switch Slow or Release Preview rings without doing a clean-install on your PC. If you wish to remain on 19H1, please change your ring settings via Settings > Update & Security > Windows Insider Program *before* taking this flight. See this blog post for details.

It's not unheard of to have bugs in any new Insider Build releases but to have two builds back to back that some users can't even get to install is ridiculous.

I had that situation a few versions back (RS4 I think). The problem in my case was that the build I was on couldn't be updated and I could get around the issue by going back to a previous build and it would update ok from there. I wonder whether something similar is happening here.

Spot on....As for Wynona comment I am not exactly a novice, Guru does not necessarily mean more knowledgeable.

True, but to Microsoft's credit, they did tell us it's a known issue. At that point, it's up to the user to decide whether to go forward or stay put.
