New Windows 10 Insider Preview Slow Build 18362.10006 (19H2) - July 17 Insider

I've clean installed 1903 and tried to upgrade to the Slow Ring but am getting a failed to reach servers, try again message.

Slow ring--never offered 18362.267. Am 18362.10005; was never offered *.10006, either, but I understand that was not rolled out to everyone. Downloaded .267 but was not allowed to install it.

My PC attempted but failed to install 18362.1006 earlier this evening (from 18362.1005) after days of checking Windows Update manually. However, when I click on Check for Updates I am told there are no updates. I checked with winver and I am still on 18362.1005.

Quite why Microsoft decided to roll out this update in this way baffles me because isn't the whole point of being a Windows Insider and opting into the Slow Ring so you can beta test these updates, knowing that there may be issues with them? Then again when has anything Microsoft does made any sense?

My understanding is that it is not offered to everyone in The Slow Ring. I have no idea on what criteria MS uses to decide who gets it??

Josey, what makes you think there are criteria-that would be scientific, and I don’t see much science here—-just random hit and miss

Maybe I expect too much from MS. I would not want to get back in The IP and go to the slow ring and Not get it,

I’m on slow ring with 5 computers, none of which were offered this build. All on .10005
No, I'm wrong. Two do have the .0006 on them. however, I cannot tell the difference at all.
