Hey so something weird happened. I had decided to postpone the update to Monday since I had things to do on my Computer. Well this morning when I woke my PC up this morning the update and restart option disappeared so I checked my updates and it was asking me to download and install 1903 again. The update space had taken up 20 gb of my SSD but it had given me back 10 gbs this morning. So this is odd.

On one hand I'm glad its not gonna install but is there anyway I can get my other 10gbs of space back or should I just wait and see?

Seems the auto updating has today been extended to include 1809 machines. Just had this appear on two of my 1809 machines...

    Attachment 244809

...Make that three machines now, my test machine (System Two below) has just had it appear too. In fact, I haven't yet found any 1809 machine that isn't getting the feature update pushed onto it.

This seems to have been a momentary aberration on the part of MS. All my 1809 test machines (VM or physical) have now gone back to showing the optional 'download and install now' notification.

    Hi,
    What do you think
Think ms will push 1909 out so they can say they still support two builds instead of just one being 1903 now on consumer end ?
    Obviously 1809 is toast

    Windows10 Home 64 bit v. 1809 bld. 17763.737

It's going to be a bit weird for my system. The first auto update to v.1903 failed. It was followed immediately by a second auto update to v.1903 that was deemed successful, but left things in a mess with trashed apps (FireFox & Windows Live Mail for a couple) and a lost desktop. I restored to v. 1809 from the windows.old folder. Everything was fine afterwards, but the update history shows three Feature Updates (the last v.1903, followed by the first failed v1903, and then the v. 1809 from 05/15/19). The About System panel shows v.1809 bld 17763.737 (after the last two CU updates). No "Download & Install" link shown on the WU panel. It would appear WU thinks v.1809 is installed despite what history shows. As long as I'm getting v.1809 updates automatically, I'll leave the sleeping dog lay. It will be interesting to see if some higher authority decides that this system needs a new version someday. I continue to do system images following each CU.
