I have two other computers that installed Logitech mouse/keyboard drivers and software but my main computer has a real issue—not installing mouse/keyboard drivers but also screen seems sluggish, yet software and driver is correct. May roll back to previous build and re-install and see if things improve.
In my case I forgot I had a 2nd display plugged in and lost video on both displays after restart and reconnecting a single display got me to the desktop at which point I realized the installation had failed with Error 0xc1900101 but no further explanation given.
And here we go 2nd attempt with "working on updates" at 48% ,57% ,75%, 85%, 94% Almost there... Build 18936 successfully Installed.
You're not the only one. Failed 2 times via Windows Update, and also got this below with an ISO.
Known Issue:
A limited number Insiders attempting to install Build 18936 may experience install failures with error code c1900101 due to a compatibility bug with a storage driver on their device. The device will attempt to install, fail, and successfully roll back to the currently installed build on the device. Attempted re-tries to install the build, either manual or automatic, will not bypass this issue. A fix is forthcoming, but there are no known workarounds currently. Note: By default, the update will attempt to install (3) times. Users may pause updates if they experience this issue and want to bypass the re-try attempts.
