I just updated it but didn't try clean install of drivers yet. This is not first time something like this happens, there were even worse occurrences.

No help from newly installed driver. Works better in safe mode though but it's also slow because of just elementary divers in safe mode. I tried to watch graphics in task manager but usage was very, very low, maybe that's the problem. In same benchmark it pegs GPU and it's memory right up, now barely moves.

Installed 18936 last night on the first pass using WU in about 45 minutes. Downloaded the UUP ISO this morning. So far no problems..seems I'm one of the lucky ones.

I had a Matrox x2 GPU at that time, helluva faster than this.

8 hrs using WU on this old laptop. So far nothing seems to be broken.
