Extremely poor build in my opinion, laggy and very sluggish, Logitech mouse unusable, back to old build and wait for next one
All installed OK, in fact this one was pretty quick. Only issue (its happened before) is a black desktop with only the bin showing. This requires a sign out/sign in to get the desktop to show. I do use theme packs so maybe its related to that and some service not starting after an upgrade.
The build is completly laggy and unusable. Obliged to restore previous version
Was able to test this now, as my HP ProBook laptop got the same issue and failed to upgrade:
Launched my incremental Macrium Reflect backup from last night as viBoot VM in Hyper-V, upgraded VM from ISO without any whatsoever issues:
Macrium viBoot is currently saving the changes to new backup, will restore it later today.

Hi folks
Bonkersly stupid today but quite enjoying mucking about with some GUI stuff on WSL today on this build (Must have too much spare time today !!!!!!!)
Here's the patience games from KDE running on UBUNTU WSL on W10 20H1
Note -- to get it working - after enabling WSL and then installing ubuntu (18.x) from the store --
apt install kde-full for the KDE desktop (you won't get a full desktop but can run loads of GUI programs)
Install an X-Server on windows (XMING or Vcxsrv) and launch with standard defaults
then run your GUI app with command : DISPLAY=:0 gui_appname you can ignore odd spurious messages on the console.
I'm messing around with this so I can multi-window, not have to run as root and see what works and what doesn't.
BTW to stop with ubuntu WSL from entering sudo password each time just type sudo su . You'll get asked for password then you'll remain as root until you exit the session.
Cheers

Thank you, Jeff—thought I was the one that detected this. I rolled back and reinstalled and got same results. Don’t understand because three other computers installed and two of them use Logitech mouse/keyboard and they all work perfectly. The sluggish screen action is on my big Samsung monitor and my Ryzen cpu system. When I rolled back performance was as expected-smooth and fast screen and mouse/cursor action. Think I’ll take it back to previous build again and see what I can do. Don’t have time today.
