I know I said that I would not be installing it via Windows Update - but got into a conversation with a friend, and short story is that he now owes me dinner. He bet me that it would fail because everyone else was failing. Since my machine was already waiting to update, before I went to bed I simply used the "Update and Shut Down" function, and went to bed. So, I have 0 info on how long it took, where it might have sat paused doing nothing, etc - but 7 hours later when I woke up my PC was off, and upon starting it, it booted successfully into 18936.
So I didn't have to use the UUPDUMP procured .ISO after all.

Same exact thing here, except I didn't get a free dinner. WU worked perfectly here on both my real and a VM instance. Good thing as I could not immediately access UUPDULMP. It was very fast but I did not time the upgrade.
Might help others to respond by posting a disk management screen shot.
Disk Management - How to Post a Screenshot of
DON'T delete that partition if you want a working sistem!!!
That partition is EFI partition.
You have 2 options:
- let it be and don't do something on that partition;
- do a clean install of 18912 build and pause the udates for a week/till next build is launched.
- - - Updated - - -
There are no options to hide again that partition!
Tried everything.
Sorry I don't know what partition you are trying to hide and or remove.
If you post a Disk Management shot as per tutorial members might be able to help.
