    Microsoft officially now sucks!

Their big advertised Sandbox and WDAG is still broken and not fixed, since the Cumulative updated that was right after the May Update(1903).
Those two important things have been broken two months now.

I'm curious to see what they broke this month

Is it official now that patch tuesday mostly contain security patches? I see bigger and longer notes on the non-monthly updates.

PT has historically been about the Security Updates. Mostly.

At times referred to as our “B” release, Update Tuesday (most often referred to as Patch Tuesday) updates are published the second Tuesday of each month. These updates are the primary and most important of all the monthly update events and are the only regular releases that include new security fixes.

Everything done long time ago, but I had to make a MR backup because of all the updates coming our way today: FF update, NVIDIA graphics driver, and this KB4507453:

    Cumulative Update KB4507453 Windows 10 v1903 build 18362.239 - July 9-winver-after-installing-kb4507453.png

Everything seems to be working OK so far, except for that darn Microsoft Edge which is still not launching in my admin account but works without any fuss in my standard account. I still cannot find any fix for this one . I saw some members talking about SSU KB4509096; I would like to know where exactly does it show... Ah! forget about my question, it is not in Update History, but I can see it in CP > Program & Features > View Installed Updates.

Thankfully, the security patches are working. All I've run for the past 3 years is Windows Defender as my Anti-Virus. AFAIKnow, not a single virus has infiltrated my P.C.. Curiously, Defender hasn't blocked any either. Maybe the virus inventors have retired, or are targeting something else besides Windows10?

Installed and running ok here. Malicious removal install sat there for a bit, but finally installed.

MRT is the oddball weird one in the MS Monthly dance. It says Installing, when in fact it's already download the new standalone package and it's actually running the MRT scan. That gives the impression it's stuck on installing something. Guess they didn't have any better words.

There are still viruses out there but as Windows became more secure, browsers are smarter so most of them don't even get to WD to detect. Other kinds of exploits bring money, viruses don't. A lot of scares come from AV developers to justify their existence. For commercial use of windows serious protection is needed more because of spying and intentional damage.

Mmm. Nothing in WU cleanup. That's a first for me.
