Microsoft originally tweeted out a promotional video for Windows 1.0.
Now, Microsoft has tweeted about a Windows 1.11 app in the Microsoft Store:
With Windows 1.11, experience 1985 nostalgia with a special edition PC app inspired by Windows 1.0 and Stranger Things 3. Play games, discover clues and easter eggs, and unlock secrets and unique Stranger Things 3 content and more. But, beware the Mind Flayer…
Experience 1985 nostalgia with a special edition Windows 10 PC app inspired by Windows 1.0—but one that’s been taken over by the Upside Down from Stranger Things. Explore the mysteries and secrets plaguing Hawkins, unlock unique show content and easter eggs, and play retro games and puzzles—all building off Stranger Things 3. Join Eleven, Steve, Dustin and gang as they seek to save Hawkins and the world. Embrace the 80s and grab your hairspray, because it’s basically the raddest show companion experience ever. But fair warning: beware the Mind Flayer.

MS are so behind the times it is embarrassing. The whole Madonna/house music husband "Born in '80's" shtick was like a decade ago and it was embarrassing then.
Under 5's or octogenarian+ for me - they make more sense in their opposite ways...
A strange and silly nostalgic flashback effort at best!
I don't see why MS wastes their time on this stuff.
We are finally free of the Mind Flayer! We’re giving away a Stranger Things 3 Collectible Arcade Cabinet and an Xbox One X to say thanks.

Hi there
I did some coding using REXX in my youth (long time ago now !!) -- a really easy English language way of coding --.
However if I were teaching kids today I'd suggest they use Python -- it works easily on windows or even on computers running an OS without a GUI --there's loads of "Windowing functions" and is really powerful too.
You don't need to be an I.T guru to use this type of coding is fun, you can make computers do what you want and OK you probably wont make zillions of dollars with the next world beating app - but at least you can be creative, have a bit of fun and is far better than hours on the "Twatosphere" or boring the entire universe with pictures of dogs on skateboards etc etc on instagram or whatever !!!.
