0x80070003 What does it mean?

The code 0x8 indicates a W32 error code and the 0003 is indicating "Error path not found"

During the update I imagine a folder was not found where it was expected.

Use the UUPDUMP method !!!

if doing an upgrade from an earlier W10 release remove USB external HDD's etc and internal SD card from reader if you have one --then it should work --no need to join insider rings if you just want to use the build.

Of course if you are testing the WU process then OK but I can't be bothered with that --I've used UUPDUMP over loads of bulds including Skip ahead one's without any problems.

Hi Jimbo, actually it was not me that had the problem I was simply giving the explanation for the code. You may be right about the workaround. An attached drive could have been confusing the path.
