This update seems to have fixed the one issue that forced me to re-image my video editing machine back to 1809. I kept 1903 on another machine as a test for if/when the issue got fixed.
Known and Resolved issues for Windows 10 May 2019 Update version 1903Bree said:
Two normal and one slow ring updated, all had the Install now message come up again which was cleared by just checking for updates again. Otherwise no issues.
I just updated and now my apps that need net framework 3.5 show this error message. ---------------------------
SmartTechnology.exe - Application Error
---------------------------
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000135). Click OK to close the application.
This is softwate for my Mad Catz Smart Keyboard. There is not even a option in turn windows features on or off anymore for net framework 3.5.There is Net Environment and Net Extensibility. What Gives.Anyone know what could of happened..
OK

the Net update was waiting pending download and the cumulative was waiting in the Download and Install tab. So, I downloaded the Net and i'll keep the cumulative waiting. I wonder if the non-patch day cumulatives will show up like that from now on, or if this is just showing up for people who went to 1903 after the June 11th cumulative. Also, i'd guess the updates being released on July 9th will show up like usual? or do we get the same powers for cumulatives and features.
Anyways, I haven't noticed anything in the current 1903 that has made me want to install a cumulative right now.
Also, would the DAIN (D&IN) listing go away after downloading the update once the Orchestrator makes another run and sees that the update was downloaded? sorta like how 1903 didn't show up in DAIN until the first Orchestrator run post June update, as opposed to immediately showing up? I'm sure some of the people who've noted that peculiarity pressed Check for Updates, so..
Got it but with one error on reboot for explorer. From Restart manager Event ID 10010

Have done a restart since and not seen again. Anyway all seems well.
Big update but I can use my event viewer again without having to hack a fix.
