I don't really want to bother you with this, but as you know UUPDump even works when some members have already started to download and at the end get an error message from MS's own download. It is like UUPDump has become a panacea to cure all Download/Install errors from MS.

I was wondering if you know of any references in the way they modified the MS's version before making it available to the public. If not, that is OK.
So far as I am aware it's identical.

From first page in Known issues section:

We’re investigating an issue where some users are reporting that File Explorer search is rendering in an unexpectedly small area and clicking it results in a crash.

Yes I have that to, my other machine is on another build where it works but as I said whenever ms gives me the new search, the search tools don't appear at the top.

OK. Installed Build 18917 on a new 1TB SSD. Upgraded to this build using WU. A couple of noteworthy events.

    1) Took only one reboot after configuring to boot to the desktop.
    2) Was able to add Netframework 3.5 directly downloading files from the server - no need to use DISM.

    Both are big pluses.

I someone to point me to the WSL 2.0 tutorial I'd much appreciate it.
