I've managed to convince a machine that had the 1903 Feature Update showing in WU to find KB4501371. To do that I had to get it to forget about the Feature Update to 1903. Now you can't do that by deferring Feature Updates, because that setting defers the C/D update too. However, switching from 'Semi-Annual Chanel (Targeted)' to 'Semi-Annual Channel' did the trick. Then it wasn't offered 1903 and was free to find and download KB4501371. Only applicable to Pro, I'm afraid...

Totally missed out on this CU. Reason is just that I have blocked FUs in Windows Update's Advanced options. Just finished installing it and everything seems to be OK.

I’m guessing that this CU will show up on my Home system after the next Patch Tuesday. Assuming that the current 1903 FU that’s currently waiting in the queue won’t still be first.

Not exactly. This CU, as said earlier, is an optional non-security preview of updates to be included next Patch Tuesday. The B Release update on Patch Tuesday will include all the fixes from this CU, plus new security updates. That CU is automatic and will always be delivered whether or not you have the 1903 FU waiting in the wings.

Thanks. That clears things up a bunch.

Thanks for this one Brink, but I think there are one or two typos in the registry path 'cause I couldn't copy/paste to the Registry Editor's address bar to get to the registry's "Mappings" value at the end. I had to go manually. Compare:

    Mine:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppContainer\Mappings
    First page:
    HKEY_CURRENTUSER"Software\Classes\Localettings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppContaine r\Mappings"
I just pointed to the typos in red above. Maybe it is from Microsoft or the format used in first page.

    Thank you @IronZorg89.

It looks like Microsoft had some typos in the path. Now corrected.
