Background:
New HP laptop Windows 10 Home with 1803; need to update to 1903.
Because of the slow network here at the Sr. Center, I downloaded Feature Update 19362.175 from UUPDump. Created an ISO for a "repair install".
Plugged the USB stick in, clicked on Setup and things progressed to "checking for updates" and stopped at 14%. We don't seem able to get past this problem.
Anybody else seen this happen? Or know a way around it?
Worst case scenario, I'll take the computer home with me and try updating with WU, but things don't look good at this point.
Not really had any issues until this update. Since downloading and updating last night I've put it on a Hyper VM as it would not load. Had to go back to 18912, which thankfully I've got a macrium image of, so easy to set up. I'm now on my third attempt this afternoon to see if I can get it to update, through WU, which it's doing with no issues, and go all the way to the start screen. So here's hoping.

Weird problem here for me:
I was about to restart and install the 1903 Feature Update, but now I'm seeing that Windows Update also wants to install an update from February 2019: "2019-02 Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems"
Anyone know why they want me to install an update from February 2019 all of a sudden???
That is the latest Intel Microcode Update. It is regularly updated and reissued with the same KB number, but looks like MS have not bothered to update its displayed name at the same time. This one was actually issued on June 11 2019.
